General Conditions
DRIVER'S AGE:
Minimum 23 years of age.
DRIVING LICENSE:
A valid driving license held for at last one year from the country of residence or an International Driving Permit is required.
MINIMUM RENTAL:
One day (24 hours). Every hour in excess is calculated 1/5 of the daily rate.
TRAFFIC FINES:
All traffic fines resulting from violation of the Greek traffic law are for renter's account.
INSURANCE:
All Sixt vehicles are insured:
a) against liability to third parties (excluding driver and passengers) for death, injury up to 400.000 €
b) material damages to third parties excluding the Sixt vehicle up to 100.000 €
c) for fire for the Sixt vehicle
d) the driver, however, is responsible for collision damage to the Sixt rented vehicle up to its value
COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER ( C.D.W. ):
The driver can limit his responsibility for his legal share in any damage of the vehicle ( as mentioned in above paragraph 6d )
a) to 150 € by paying the sum of 6 € for every day of the rental for the categories A,B,C,D,I,J,K
b) to 300 € by paying the sum of 9 € for every day of the rental for the categories E, F, G,H,L.
c) to 450 € by paying the sum 18 € for every day of the rental for the category K, H2 provided also that the traffic laws were not ravened. Damages to tires, windshield, mirrors, windows and underneath the vehicle is not covered by the CDW insurance cover. The renter may waive the above reliability (150/300/450 €) by paying 2 € per day ( F.D.W. ).
THEFT PROTECTION:
Total value of the Sixt car against theft subject to additional charge of 3 € per day for the car groups A,B,C,L,M, 5 € per day for the car groups D, E, F, F1, G, H1, J, N, I and; 7 € per day for the group K, H2.
PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE:
This insurance, optionally available only 3 € per day, covers the renter and
each passenger of the SIXT rented car with the following amounts respectively. Driver: Death, total or partial disability 18.000 € Medical Expenses 850 €. Each Passenger: Death, total or partial disability 9.0000 €. Medical expenses 850 €. Maximum amount covered per accident 44.000 €.
TAXES:
All rates are subject to 13% VAT.
GASOLINE:
The consumption is payable by the renter Unleaded type of fuel be used only on SIXT vehicles.

ADDITIONAL DRIVER FEE:
2 € per day
EQUIPMENT:
Baby/child (up to 3 years old) seat, snow chain, roof rack on request with daily charge of 1 €.
ACROSS THE BORDER RENTAL:
An advanced written authorization from SIXT Greece is required.
FERRYING THE CAR:
An advanced written authorization from SIXT Greece is required.
